​Fraud alert!
We have been made aware of a scam utilising the ONEFLARE website and possibly others. A fraudulent entity is contacting customers and representing themselves to be us. They are sending out invoices to ‘book’ the work.
They are not real!
We will never invoice you without meeting you face to face.
- QBCC law requires us to have a contract for any work exceeding $3300 inc GST.
- QBCC law prohibits us from invoicing more than 5% deposit for jobs over $20k and 10% for jobs under.
- We will attend your site in person.
- We will provide you with a concept and price.
If acceptable, we will proceed to contract.
You will not be invoiced for construction work prior to signing a contract to ‘book’ the job.
This is the required process for other builders as well, and we can assume there are other legitimate businesses being misrepresented by scammers also.
Don’t get caught out by the scammers. Always meet with your builder before you pay any money.
