EXCAVATIONS THAT ROCK
Talk about excavations that rock. In preparation for a new extension we are building at Oxenford, some earthworks were needed. 500m3 of fill has been removed. That took 30 loads with a 10 ton tipper. Thanks to Dennis from Phoenix Boulder Walls, the 70m2 of rock retaining walls are now complete and we have a nice level pad to work with. We look forward to seeing this extension take shape over the coming weeks.
Site preparation is critical to a great final product. An old saying among builders is that you have to get a job coming out of the ground correctly so that the rest of the job flows well.
